Women and Dance will be premiering a new work choreographed by Denise Miller, The Rejection. This piece is about two women who are rejected by their own society as a consequence of war. Without husbands, many women and children in the Middle East are lost, not knowing if they will be helped or killed by the extremists. Muslim women also experience rejection in Western society due to negative perceptions of their religion and culture.
